Designed for the youngest game players, Sparky features a flashy six-legged bug that lights up when you push the button on its back. It also calls out a shape players are to find and place on their playing boards. So, they will be looking for two attributes, a shape and color. (We suggest for 2’s and beginners that you play just one attribute.)The two sides playing boards can be played three in a row or all four corners on one side and fill the shapes on the picture card on the other side. Basically this is a matching game with visual and auditory and tactile clues that reinforce color concepts and shapes, as well. With mixed ages, play this cooperatively rather than trying to be the first to fill the card or get three in a row.Finding two attributes at the same time is a big order for beginners.Marked for 2 & up, we think this will be a better choice for older twos maybe and for threes and fours.
