With 67 chunky Duplo pieces, this set allows kids to build their own 3” x 5” tracked bulldozer, 4” x 9” tipper truck and an 8”crane that can rotate the cabin and bend and flex to scoop up bricks and other supplies. There are three construction workers with safety helmets who are ready to get the job done. Once assembled, kids will have a miniature setting and props that they use for dramatic play. This would have won an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio award, but the box is marked for 2-5 and includes a mini-shovel that should be removed for 2’s and others who still mouth their toys. Although toddlers may enjoy playing with the toy, you will need to do most of the building for 2’s and some 3’s. You’ll also need to assist younger preschoolers in assembling the vehicles. A Backhoe Loader and Tracked Excavator are available separately.
