For that time when nothing but pirates will do, this Pirate Raiders’ Ship will be an ideal pretend setting for adventures. It has three main sails and is a big 26 1/2 x 9 x 20 1/2 inches when completed. There are three pirates aboard as well as a working cannon and other accessories. You can add other props with extra sets that compliment this base setting. Marked 4-10, this is not a toy preschoolers or young early school aged kids can put together. It will make a good parent-child project with parents doing most of the assembly. That said, preschoolers will like playing with it once it's built. Older school aged kids who are fascinated with pirate tales will like both the building aspect (with some guidance) and the dramatic play possibilities.
