K’nex Tinker Toy 150 Piece Set

Newest basic set of a classic building toy. Of course, the playing pieces are no longer wooden, but plastic and some of the long rods are bendable, allowing for constructions that were not possible with the wooden rods. They have also added some new connectors and grids that fill in some of the empty spaces. Happy to see a girl on the box as this was once a toy that was given mostly to boys. They do make a pinkish gender specific set, but we like this one that both genders will enjoy. Marked for 3 and up, we think this will be of more interest to 5’s and up who will have the dexterity to connect the pieces, which are probably tough for younger kids.
