Dressed like Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz, this is the first African American version we’ve ever seen. She’s a sweet all fabric doll with fabric pigtails and sparkly silver fabric stitched on shoes—not Dorothy’s usual ruby red slippers. Her dress pockets hold a three finger puppets: Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion, ready to sing along and play favorite scenes from an American classic.
