No, this is not the game you played with paper and pencil—honestly, it’s better. It’s a reinvented form of the classic with lots of new ways to play with X and O cards. In this version, you can change the game because you can use either X or O cards on your turn and stack your X-cards on top of your opponent’s O-cards or vice-versa. You get a point for each tic-tac-row you make and it’s possible to get two or even three rows with the turn on one card— that’s what you call a Whoa! There are five different games and ways to play and each game is quick, so there are plenty of chances to win and lose. It’s a good one for beginners to learn about looking ahead and using strategy skills. Basically, it’s a fun choice for 7 and up.
