The open-ended building kit with 116 pieces comes with a wrecking ball, chain, pulleys, propeller, treads, and wheels to be incorporated in their contraptions. Beginners may need adult help to get started as they learn how the parts mesh and find their way in the instruction kit. Once they feel familiar with the material they’ll be challenged to use their patience, persistence, trial and error, and critical thinking skills to create their own Machines in Motion. This is a truly playful STEM toy. Marked 4+, but this is more complicated than other Gears! Gears! Gears! sets and is really a better choice for early school age kids.
