Craftastic Ferocious Pom Creatures

Young crafters can create three small felt animals that are precut and ready to decorate by adding the precut double sided stick-on to the front of the creature. Next comes the fine motor task of applying the precut felt trims followed by tiny pom-poms and felt stick on features. That said, these kits are going to require adult help. As adult will be needed to get the double-faced adhesive placed on the creature, but once that’s done, kids will be busy putting the tiny poms in place. Don’t expect that kids are going to make neat rows as shown on the box, but as they work, encourage them to keep the poms close together. They’ll need their fine motor skills, just to get them all stuck to the surface. After that, an adult will need to iron the creature before it is filled with the stuffing and tied tight, by an adult. So this is a parent-child project. Marked for 4 and up, we’d say this is more like a craft for older 5s, 6s and 7s.
