Our 9 year-old toy tester loved exploring Clixo - an innovative building system that comes together with the use of flat flexible pieces that have built-in magnets. We also love that this set will glow in the dark - adding to fun of playing with the toy after it's put together. The building pieces are made from recyclable materials that are BPA-Free. This 30 piece set also comes with wheels and instructions for various builds. A good choice for a travel take along since the pieces are very light weight. The flexible pieces can be reused to build a variety of rovers, motorcycles, and space drones. These 2-D pieces are a challenge but great fun to use to create 3D toys. A good choice for quiet STEM time play for thinking kids. There’s no right or wrong way and a very different experience than the usual Lego block building set. As they get to know this material the construction ideas will become more complex. We look forward to seeing more from Clixo. Marked 6 and up.
