Depending on where you live, this may be a good choice for the holidays or one to save for spring. It’s a sunflower garden that you can start to grow in the special pot in the kit. We really like the book that comes with the kit that kids can keep like a log of their planting project. This is one of those craft kits that keeps on keeping on. It’s not a one and done gift. We think that’s a plus on every level. It needs some reading to get started; some care and writing as it goes along, and some creative decorating, too. This is STEM with a stem.
