Take this looking-and-thinking game outdoors for solo time or play dates with structured play that still allows for plenty of moving about and the fun of the hunt and discovery. This is not a typical gathering hunt or race. It’s not just a game of finding what’s on the picture cards, either. Since this is designed for younger children, they need only find and point to the object found. In addition to single objects, some are wood or metal or other materials. In other words, this is a game that expands language and thinking with cards that relate to patterns, senses, and number concepts. For slightly older kids who can read, the backs of the cards give the word(s) or challenge in English, Spanish, French, and German. See the Indoor version for similar fun. Marked 3 and up, we’d say this will be enjoyed by early school age kids as well as preschoolers.
