Like other Laugh & Learn Fisher-Price products, this is designed to grow with children as they grow from crawling to walking to riding. With buttons to push, wagons to pull, and tractor to ride-on, this multi-purpose vehicle is probably best for the toddlers who are secure on their own two feet. Sure, baby can push the buttons, but the wheeled part is still months away. It has plenty of sounds: a squeaker horn, fruit and vegetable clacker rings, and gas cap clicker and 75 + songs, sounds and phrases, including unnecessary alphabet, counting, and shape names for babies that are just about beginning to say Mama and Papa. True, babies and toddlers do like the power of pushing buttons and making things happen, but there are lots of other activities here that are beyond them.
The big question is how well does this ride-on fit your little driver. Toddlers come in all sizes and some ride ons are better than others for those who are short or tall. We suggest trying ride-ons for size before you buy. They are not one-size-fits-all. IF you want the ride on to fit, don't buy one to grow into. It's a here-and-now kind of toy for building gross motor coordination and should give toddlers a sense of success and confidence.
