A tactile set of 36 brightly colored turtles provide the touchy- tactile tokens for sorting, matching and counting games. A set of activity cards can be used with suggested activities. There are large, medium and small turtles with patterns on the backs and undersides. The fun is in finding all the ones with bumpy shells or matching the patterns on their underside with the game card. In addition to the many games suggested, you and your small player are sure to come up with extra games. We suggest you also share this game with a reading of our old favorite, Yertle the Turtle and make some five turtle stacks. Or how about reading the classic, Tortoise and the Hare. A parent-child activity set for preschoolers, with enough playing pieces to be used for making patters, sorting by color, sorting by texture, sorting by size.
