Wow. This is a stunning high-quality puzzle with 50 oversized pieces to create a very satisfying 3 foot tall penguin. The puzzle pieces come with a color-coded guide on the back which is very useful since the penguin doesn't have a straight border to work off of. Each piece comes with fun facts about the penguin as well as sheet included in the box with information about penguins. This is a gorgeous product -- but 3s will most likely watch you do the puzzle. It's hard because of the shape of the animal. We think this is more a puzzle for older 4s and 5s -- and even then, a better puzzle to do with your child. There's so much to talk about as you put it together. Also in this collection, A Red Panda and Koala.
Marked 3 and up. We'd say more like 5+.
