Mindware Qwirkle – Color Blind Friendly Edition

(Mindware $24.95)

A family favorite game has a new twist. Players compete to score points by adding tiles to existing lines of tiles with matching attributes, either color or shape. Make a line of six and you get extra points for making a “Qwirkle.” This new edition adds small interior shapes that can be used to build a line. These interior shapes are a bonus for players who are color blind, apparently, they give added color distinction. There are 108 wooden tiles and drawstring bag and instructions. Unlike the deluxe set, there are no racks for the tiles and the tiles are wooden not acrylic. The game is more affordable this way and always a favorite for family game times. The game calls for some strategy and score keeping. It’s easy to learn but fun for 2-4 players from 6-66. Early school, Tweens and Teens
