Playmobil Pirates
(Playmobil $49.99) Ahoy! Fans of all things pirates will enjoy this construction set that has a great pretend pay off when you're done building. The pirate ship has three sails, pirate flags and also includes a plank. Like most Playmobil sets, we recommend that for younger builders you make this a parent/child project. There are 137 pieces in this set -- including pirates (duh), a canon, a treasure map, a monkey, three play figures (one is idenified as a Pirate Queen), a treasure chest, a telescope, swords, and a manta ray. There are some projectiles to be careful with when playing if there are other kids involved.
