Our testers enjoyed working on this build together. There are actually six different models they can try with this kit that promises to propel the finished product with water power. A good choice for an older sib to share with younger sib or parent and child with older early school child. We think most 8s will have difficulty doing this solo. That said, this is a fun STEM toy that really focuses on physics concepts like rocket propulsion in a way that's fun and engaging. Who doesn't like getting wet? 8 & up
